660 Oak Street 1936/2011

Former Sacred Heart Convent designed by architect John J. Foley and constructed in 1936 to house the Sisters of Saint Dominic, currently nominated for designation as a San Francisco Landmark. Renovated 2011, now housing an integrated live-work space for artists across a broad spectrum of creative disciplines. The Convent comprises private and shared spaces including the original Sanctuary where a variety of community gatherings are hosted including music, comedy, film & art shows, yoga, dance, and more.
